This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes the current state honestly, including what has not been done.
What has been done
- Content is delivered as real HTML and works without JavaScript and with a screen reader.
- Every meaningful image carries descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- The FAQ uses real buttons with
aria-expandedandaria-controlsand is operable by keyboard. - A visible "skip to main content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Pinch-to-zoom is enabled; no
maximum-scalerestriction. - Interactive controls have a visible focus outline and a minimum 24 px target.
- Images declare width and height, so content does not jump while loading.
- Body text is set at 17–20 px with a 66–70 character line length.
- The countdown is marked
role="timer"witharia-live="off", so it is not announced every second, and a static text equivalent is provided. - The countdown pulse is disabled under
prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limitations
- [FILL IN: list any issue found in your own testing]
