Why Crowned discloses this
Because the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires it, and because you deserve to know the incentive behind a recommendation before you act on it. The FTC's Endorsement Guides require a material connection between publisher and seller to be disclosed clearly, close to the recommendation, in language an ordinary reader understands.
What the commission does not buy
